I have been on a quest for 10 years now to find a replacement for my beloved food/nutrition book that my baby scribbled in (without missing a single page!) I have finally found a book that not only replaces my old favorite, but completely blows it away! Organized into categorical chapters, this book manages to include every conceivable type of produce, healthy meat and dairy product I could possibly want to learn about, much less eat. For every item of food, the author lists an extensive list of vitamins, nutrients, trace elements, antioxidants, and amino acids. And with the simple recipes, storage tips, and history of each food, I found myself reading page after page like a novel! Maybe that shows my food geekiness, but the book is really that interesting. It's a sizable book and well worth the money!
