silly and sanctimonious - vesta2016 - california
Not at all a comprehensive look at veganism. The author introduces silly suggestions such as vegans may want to carry fabric cushions around, to avoid sitting on leather chairs - as if that will benefit the animal that died to make the chair! The book is filled with this kind of futile tokenism.
And considering that many vegans are animal lovers and therefore have pets, the author never discusses the ethical dilemna of feeding meat to dogs and cats, who are natural carnivores. Just don't sit on those leather chairs, folks!
